TEST PRESSINGS FOR "DARK WATSON" ARE HERE!!!
Only workaholic artists have alter-egos that may or may not be active! I write a lot of songs, and they cannot all go on Tim Easton albums, so I basically dreamed up this idea years ago and it's finally coming to fruition with this release. "Dark Watson" has been my pun on Doc Watson for years now, and there is a bit of flat picking and folk music on this album. I have always been fascinated by the alter-egos of Hank Williams (LUKE THE DRIFTER) and of course David Bowie (ZIGGY STARDUST) and so both of those influences are also on this album.
I recorded ten songs for my upcoming Tim Easton album ("fIREHORSE" FEB 2026) with a full Nashville band at two fancy studios with Kevin Nolan producing and Brad Jones mixing. Before those songs were even mixed I came back home and recorded a full other album and sent it away to Gotta Groove vinyl manufacturing in Cleveland for test pressings, which have arrived.
I have also painted TWO HUNDRED INDIVIDUAL copies of the album jacket, like the one you see in the image for this post.
Stay tuned for more release functions and such. If you would like a copy of the Dark Watson album, write me a note at the contact page on this website. The only digital version of this album will be available on my Patreon page, which is the most direct way to support the work I do, and I thank you for considering it.
Cheers,
Tim Easton AKA Dark Watson
